​P.E. Clubs (Teacher: Ms. Tina Book)

Running club is from August 19-September 9 Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for grades 1-5.  Kick off the year with Running Club, then consider Jump Rope Club. 

Jump Rope club starts for grades 2-5 on September 19-October 5 Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:15-8:45.  

The Jump Rope Performing team is called the Soaring Hawks.  Try-outs are October 10 and 12, 2016.  The team will be announced on Friday, October 21.  Practices for the performing team is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from November 1, 2016-February 28, 2017.

Art Clubs (Teacher: Mrs. Amy Marsh)

Hey Red Hawk Ridge Artists! It is time to start Ms. Marsh's Art Clubs. We will begin with a Set Design Club for grades 3-5. I will be facilitating 2 other clubs later this year. The second will be a Pokemon Drawing Club for all ages and the third a Duct Tape Art Club for all ages. Watch for permission slips coming home! There is no cost to participate in Art Club. For our first club we will be creating sets and props for the Winter Music Program. In our second club we will learn to draw Pokemon! In our Duct Tape Art Club we will create crafts from multicolored Duct Tape. I look forward to working with our artists. Please let me know if there is any time you would like to visit or help out.

Choir is a continuing morning chorale exclusively for Intermediate students (Grades 3,4,5)

Dance Club (Teacher: Ms. Ann Younce)

Dance Club encourages 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students to learn a variety of cultural dance styles, historical dances, social line & partner dances, current styles & more!!! 

This club is offered each Monday from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Music Room with Ms. Younce

What:          Jr. FIRST LEGO League 2016/2017 Challenge: Creature Craze

When:         Tuesday mornings beginning 11/29 and ending on 1/31.

Where       The STEM Room

How Many:  There will be 20 students in this session. 

Fee:            There is no fee to participate in this club

Sign Up: Students will receive sign-up sheets in their Thursday folders in October

RHR Movie Club

Who:        Red Hawk Ridge Actors, Directors and Producers: grades 3 - 5

What:       Creating live action and stop motion movies

When:       Monday and Wednesday mornings 8:00-8:40 a.m. beginning in March

Includes:  Mini-movie festival on the evening of May 4th

Where      The STEM Room

How Many: There will be 15 students in this session. 

Fee:          There is no fee to participate in this club

Star Wars LEGO Master Builders

Who:        Red Hawk Ridge Engineers: grades 1-5

What      Students will be creating scaled scenes from their favorite SW films

When      Tuesday mornings 8:00-8:40 a.m. beginning in February

Includes: Master Build Showcase on the evening of May 4th

Where    The STEM Room

How ManyThere will be 12 students in this session. 

Fee:There is no fee to participate in this club, but we'd appreciate donations of old LEGOs or gift cards to purchase more LEGOs!

Garden Club (Teacher: Mrs. Anne Naccarato)

Garden Club is offered to students in third-fifth grades. 

We meet on Wednesday afternoons from 3:30-5:00

Students are responsible for planning, planting, and maintaining our school garden.  During winter months, Garden Club members participate in cooking and nutrition activities. 

Fantasy Football Math Club (Teachers: Mr. Garrett & Mrs. Coe)

Fantasy Football Math Club is for third, fourth, and fifth grade students who want to use real football statistics to become more fluent with their computational skills while using real-life data and having fun! Students will create their own Fantasy Football Team, "drafting" real-life players for their team, and then will use their player's statistics each week to compute a team total and graph this information comparing it to other members of the club. 

This club meets on Wednesday mornings at 8am and will provide some breakfast snacks for students. Megan Coe ( and Geoff Garrett ( are the contacts for this club.
