Parents please plan on coming to the school gym on Wednesday, April 22 between 1:45 pm - 6:00 pm to retrieve your student's items. If you are able to help volunteer with the distribution, please sign up below!
Talent Show is Coming!
Exciting news, the 3rd Annual 𝆕Red Hawk Ridge Talent Show𝆕 will be showcased on Tuesday, May 12th at 6pm. We are excited to showcase our student’s unique talents in the performing, visual, and athletic arts!
Auditions will be held for all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students interested in performing a talent on stage. It is important to note that if you audition, you must be willing to commit to the dress rehearsal and the evening event.
What you need to know before signing up for an audition:
- You must provide any props or music tracks your act requires.
- We will provide sound equipment, chairs, and tables upon request.
- Your act must be school appropriate and under 3 minutes.
- Acts may be a solo or in a group, but all participants will need separate permission slips to audition.
- The cast list will be emailed on Saturday, April 11th.
Auditions: Attendance is required for ONE of the following dates.
Monday, April 6th 3pm-4pm or Friday April 10th 3pm-4pm.
Dress Rehearsal: Monday, May 11th from 3pm-4:30pm.
Talent Show: Performers must arrive at 5:30pm for the evening show on Tuesday, May 12th at 6pm.
Student Payments Moving to MySchoolBucks
Beginning March 23rd, student fees and purchases have moved to MySchoolBucks, the system already used for meal payments. Families can now manage meals and fees in one place.

RHR ART CLUB
Hello RHR Families!
If your 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader enjoys art, then come join us for our after school art
club and experience the joy of art-making! Art Club will be in the Art room (Room
209) after school on Tuesdays from 2:45-3:45 PM. The spring session will last 8
weeks. Please plan to pick up your student at the front of the school promptly at
3:45 pm. If you are unable to, please sign your student up for the Soaring Heights
After Care Program by contacting Denise Dillard
(cdillard3@cherrycreekschools.org).
Art Club will be limited to 20 students, admitted based on time of sign-up. This
year’s focus in Art Club will be different types of fiber art like making yarn
paintings or portraits, felt plushies, and more!
Art Club applications will be given out to each classroom teacher and will need to
be brought home and be signed by a parent or gaurdian. Applications can be
turned into either Ms. Brown (Room 226) or Ms. Baer (Room 209). The last day to
turn in Art Club applications will be 2/10 and students and their families will be
notified if they are in the spring session by 2/13. If you have any questions, please
feel free to email Ms. Brown or Ms. Baer (Information listed at the bottom).

No Art Club March 17 (Spring Break)

Every Wednesday students will be dismissed at 1:45 PM.
Photo ID Required
A photo ID is always required when checking a student out early.
Attendance Matters!
Regular daily school attendance is a critical factor in school success. Students who are chronically absent from school are at risk of falling behind in academic learning. Poor attendance in early grades can influence whether children read proficiently by the end of third grade. By sixth grade, chronic absence can be a predictor of whether a student is at risk for dropping out of school. Help us meet our goal of having every child in school every day. If your family anticipates an issue with attendance this year, please reach out to our office and we will make a plan to ensure your student gets to school.

The Colorado State Board of Education approved Cherry Creek School District’s Teacher Degree Apprenticeship Program, a partnership with the Community College of Aurora that allows aspiring teachers to earn a degree and licensure while working in classrooms.

The new NSWL Denver state-of-the-art performance center broke ground Monday morning; a one-of-a-kind partnership between Denver NWSL and the Cherry Creek School District. The goal is to help advance women’s youth, amateur, and professional sports in Colorado and support CCSD’s vision of a Pathway of Purpose for every student.

Inside Out Summer Enrichment Program
The Inside Out summer enrichment program offers rising first through eighth grade students a learning environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and effective communication skills. Inside Out offers classes with options for half-day or full-day for one or two weeks during June 2026. Registration is open March 30th - April 20th.
